I am still on the subject of God and the Devil. I think that God (a force for purity in the iniverse – no mind just a force)has a hand in what we do if we are operating with a certain purity in our living. This is the only way to account for the mastery in Norma Forss portraits. I randomly chose number 22 of the pictures on a CD book about my mother to illustrate here. I would not have chosen this one otherwise. Why not ? It is a masterful portrait. Look at the posturing of the subjects and the facial expressions, the lighting, shadow play, etc.. etc.. I do not know if this one is with a flash or a single reflector. My mother used a single tungstan bulb in a reflector for a lot of her portraits.
